Cannot figure out how the heck to install vdrift. I downloaded the newest source code and data and followed all the wiki directions. Then I read somewhere not to use scons. I'm totally lost. I don't think bullet is installing either. What do I do?

ok I just went and installed the minimal old deb version, and I got it to work, so I can at least play it now. I would like to get the full newest version though. It looks cool so far. Can someone make a deb for 64-bit linux or at least give me some install instructions because the the readme file and the wiki say contradictory things.

The README file is ancient, you can ignore it. For the latest source or the SVN version, you can go by the wiki instructions, and if you run into problems, please try to post the exact error you're getting. Just follow the directions as far as possible and when you get stuck let us know where and why.
