Updated Windows build instructions - thelusiv - 02-12-2008
I just finished compiling VDrift on my Windows XP test rig, and I wrote some new docs as I went to clarify things and make it easier for others to do.

Thanks for cleaning that up. I think the installation of all of the tools was tripping people up (it was tripping me up for quite a while!).

No problem. Next I'm going to write some FreeBSD instructions since there are none. It gives me an excuse to try a *BSD for the first time as well. It's going on the same test rig I used for Windows.

As I reported on IRC, the build instructions work perfectly.

kcid made a binary package which includes the minimal data from the last release. I'll upload it and post it as a news item for a "release candidate" build soon.

Well I just got around to posting kcid's file and decided to just make my own and upload it, since I just made some modifications to VDrift today that might as well get included.
While I was at it I got annoyed at having to type the same things over and over in MSYS, so I wrote some scripts to aid the process. Now the entire build environment is set up with one command, and there is now a script to compile Bullet and another to compile VDrift. Hopefully this will streamline the Windows build process a lot.
If you're using Windows and compiling with it please test out these changes and let me know if you have any problems. I have updated the Compiling instructions on the wiki (same link as above) to reflect the new scripts.
