FF cars? Are there any, except mazda 3? - ManowaR - 11-03-2007

I found only one, are there some more?
& one more question, is there any tutorial, how to make a model? Using Blender for ex.?
Sorry, if this question won't fit here Smile I'm new on this forum & very sleepy (after trying to drift mazda 3, feels good, but something is wrong - i don't like the way it brakes & it's weightshifting)

Can't help you with how to make a car. I can help you with the M3 situation - it's one of several cars I have changes in mind for, I just haven't done it yet. The amount of travel should be decreased, and the stiffness increased.

hm, M3 is FR car, not FF.
i mean front engine front wheels drive
& front engine, rear wheels drive.

- cotharyus - 11-04-2007

Hm? No, I'm pretty sure the Mazda 3 is FF.

the mini cooper too

Try searching the forums. asking for a tutorial on using blender has been asked way to many times. just for the sake of it try this

Also saying M3 can get confusing. it sounds like the BMW M3!! Which is a FR Car

the Mazda 3 is a FF Car and the mini is also a FF car. 8) 8)

FF Cars:

MI, MC, 3S, C7, RG

Hrm... that the C7, which should be based on the Caterham, is FF seemed wrong to me. So I looked it up... it is RWD... for ManowaR's reference this can be found in the .car file for the car in the data directory "drive=RWD|FWD" .. I'm thinking this could also be AWD, but I didn't find an example for this... I know the Impreza should be, but I don't know the vdrift name for that car.

Anyways, figuring out the engine placement would be a little more difficult as you have to look at the engine position coordinates with respect to the bounding box of the rest of the car... and I don't see that information easily accessible Sad

bugsyv your right, the C7 is a RWD car. The impreza is the RS2
