HowTo Car-model to .joe - cologne - 07-06-2007 Sorry, but I didn´t find information how to transform the scaled F1-Car to JOE-format. I have the "export-joe-0.3.py" scripts and the scaled car in Blender. What to do now? Your answer should expand the uncomplete description in wiki: http://wiki.vdrift.net/Creating_cars Export the Models Thanks! - joevenzon - 07-06-2007 There is information on exporting the model in this section: http://wiki.vdrift.net/Creating_cars#Export_the_Models I'm not sure exactly where you're having trouble. Are you familiar with using export plugins (python scripts)? - cologne - 07-08-2007 Quote:I'm not sure exactly where you're having trouble. Are you familiar with using export plugins (python scripts)? Thats my problem! The wiki doesn´t give any advice. I didn´t find info in blender, what to do. I didn´t find a folder for export scripts. ??? - joevenzon - 07-08-2007 Here are some instructions... it's pretty easy. You just need to change a window to the Text Editor type: http://wiki.blender.org/uploads/3/3f/Manual-Part-I-ConceptWinTypes.png Then File->Open the export-joe-0.3.py script. Then do File->Run Python Script - cologne - 07-11-2007 Thanks! Quote:Then File->Open the export-joe-0.3.py script. Then do File->Run Python Script Now it works. I found the way to move the local coordinates. Some problems remain.... This i a good problem, to become familiar with the blender interface :-) |
