Traction, how do you get more? - protomor - 04-25-2007 Even on low HP cars, its very easy to spin tires. What values do you edit to raise traction in the tires? I guess I could raise their mass but thats not right. - joevenzon - 04-26-2007 Our tire model uses the pacejka formula. For more info, see: http://www.racer.nl/reference/pacejka.htm This system is extremely detailed, but unfortunately difficult to tweak (you've got a few dozen coefficients to adjust). I'll give you a shortcut, though: to have cars spin out less, increase the b2 value in the tire-rear section of the .car file. - thelusiv - 04-26-2007 Another reminder that we need a good Pacejka editor.... |
