Yukon - OpenGL video capturing framework - rookie1 - 04-11-2007 Anyone heard of Yukon? It's a video capture software for OpenGL applications. We might be able to use this to capture some vdrift gameplay videos. - rookie1 - 04-11-2007 Well, I've compiled Yukon and it's working fine capturing glxgears. But nothing comes out when trying to capture vdrift. Seems the author is aware of this problem. Here is a mail he sent to SDL mailing list. http://www.archivesat.com/libsdl/thread1468464.htm - thelusiv - 04-12-2007 I wrote a video capture class for school once, but the peformance wasn't so hot, it didn't use GL directly (which made it useful for capturing 2D games as well) so it was slow but still, it worked. |
