Problems with FPS on a 2600+ - What can I do? - Robin - 05-20-2006
Hi all,
since a few hours I'm a fan of your Drift Sim. Unfortunately it took me hours to get a suitable setup. Still I have problems with the framerates. On the track I have reached 15-18 FPS, with view distance already set to 500m and details on "low" or"medium", although I'm running Vdrift on a 2600+ and a 128MB GF FX Graphics card and WinXP.
What can I do to get soe framerates around 30 FPS?

The next release contains performance enhancements. We'll be pushing it out pretty soon.

Also, once you start more than one new game in a row the performance tends to take a dive. Try quitting out of vdrift and then starting it again.
