Bloom, motion blur, and ambient occlusion not doing anything - rufsketch1 - 09-19-2011 It doesn't seem to be a compatibility issue. Code: INFO: Multi-processor system detected. Run with -multithreaded argument to enable multithreading (EXPERIMENTAL). - rufsketch1 - 09-19-2011 I guess bloom and motion blur are just bugs that still haven't been fixed, but ambient occlusion used to work fine. What gives? - rufsketch1 - 09-19-2011 It seems reflections don't work either. Limited to environment maps. What gives? - joevenzon - 09-20-2011 They haven't been reimplemented in the OpenGL3 renderer. You can run vdrift with the -gl2 argument to get the old OpenGL2 renderer. - MirceaKitsune - 10-15-2011 I always had the same issues, and would like to know about this too. Bloom worked for me at some point, but now it doesn't again. Motion blur never did. Ambient occlusion... can't tell by eye. I didn't know about the -gl2 argument. Thanks joevenzon! If it works on Windows I will try it too, and maybe that will get some shaders working for me. [EDIT] -gl2 won't seem to work for me either ![]() - joevenzon - 10-16-2011 The -gl2 argument is something I added when I made that post, so if you're running the last release you don't have it. |
