Publishing the app - antoniovazquez - 07-04-2011 I was thinking about publishing the app in the Mac OS App Store and Ubuntu Software center. What do you think about that? That will attract a lot of people and that will make updating easier for users. The thing is how to structure our game. I was thinking about a basic package with binaries and two cars and two circuits and extra data packages which is perfect for Linux but Apple want us to include it all in one package. I later thought about downloadable content from the app which is quite good idea. Can this content be downloaded directly to the mac app container? That should increase our app container once installed but in case of need of uninstall no residual files will keep in our computers. The problem is that in case of update data will be lost... What do you think? - Timo 6 - 07-05-2011 I had wondered if VDrift could go in MAS, but wasn't sure if it fits the guidelines. I'm not registered as a developer, so can't check - are you?
