rouen needs our help! - portets - 06-26-2010 seeing as rouen is the only track that people like debian would include in a repository due to licensing issues, we should make it vdrift's showcase track! this was already mentioned in a different thread, but it sounds new-thread worthy now. i started making a few new textures, added misc1 and misc2 also for some. https//docs.google.com/uc?id=0ByBA2iQHjx06ODRkOTY5MWYtNWI5Yi00NTBjLTllMDktZmI0YjFhYjBkZTU2&export=download&hl=en my first rouen texture pack includes fldgrass misc1, misc2 grass2a misc1, misc2 rmbl3a misc1, misc2 rmbl4a misc1, misc2 road1a misc1, misc2 +redesigned road1s misc1, misc2 +redesigned roadcob misc1, misc2 by the way joe, nice job so far on the normal mapping. the cobblestone map i made looks a little funny, but not too bad. i'll continue making new textures and adding new normal maps for objects. oh, by the way, the road textures i'm making are freshly paved asphalt. later i will get to making aged pavement, and eventually i'd like to make 4 ages of asphalt for every type of asphalt tile. then maybe they could be added into a library in a shared data folder for other tracks to use. everything i make for rouen will be gpl v2 or higher. - joevenzon - 06-27-2010 What's your sourceforge username?
