How can Motion Blur be enabled? - MirceaKitsune - 02-03-2010 I'm not seeing Motion Blur marked as 'experimental', yet it never works when turned on and turns itself back off when the game is restarted. I know it's probably not ready, but I'm seeing pictures such as http://vdrift.net/Gallery/media.php?f=0&sort=0&s=20070609012202391 and http://vdrift.net/Gallery/media.php?f=0&sort=0&s=20070609012200738 where it does work (from 2007 even). I was wondering if there's any place to get the correct shaders from, or what must be done to enable what currently works of motion blur? Windows 7 64bit user and my video card is an ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2. - portets - 02-03-2010 i was wondering this myself. i just assumed that it used to work but it got broken in the code somehow - joevenzon - 02-03-2010 When VDrift got rewritten, I didn't re-implement motion blur. The old shaders are still there, but there are a lot of other code changes necessary to get it working again. I wasn't sure if anyone actually cared about it. :-) It seems people do, so I'll bump it up in priority on my TODO list. - MirceaKitsune - 02-04-2010 I'll wait for the reimplementation in that case, thanks. It is a feature I'd love to see again... I'm probably too much of a modern effects fan but I'd certainly love that
