Maybe attempt to upgrade your ports and see if your GL (MESA?) is the latest, greatest?

I dunno FreeBSD that well, but in Gentoo speak you need to make sure that the xserver is pointed at the correct version of GL for your system (via opengl-update). Red herring or something to investigate?

Nah. I got it actually. The GL/Mesa stuff was up to date, FreeBSD just chooses to name things a little differently and apparently that bit (me?) in the rear on this one. I just made a link with the right name to the correct libs and it fired right up. I was entirely too tired to think of that when I installed blender the other day.

Cool.

I'm sitting here in front of the blender interface and asking myself "now what?".

Smile Time to dig out some tutorials I guess. Maybe I'll try a flat fender Jeep first - they are simple. "Go Devil" powered! Smile

Haven't gotten industrious enough yet to do anything beyond "yep, it starts up" with blender. Currently I'm familiarizing myself with the network play code. Some good might come of this yet.

hi,
Very good game, I'm surprised it's possible to make this kind of game. I'm sure it took a lot of time, and if you did thumbs down, like that one dude, it kept crashing on him, well you sir, have a very crappy computer.
