- FFuser - 04-05-2007 have you redownloaded the minimal installer yesterday? if not do it and try again please. BTW: that buffer overflow seems to come from another process. - wmd772 - 04-05-2007 2FFuser I`ll try, thanks. But I run Vdrift at home and friend computer. Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 Therefore for FreeBSD can be something that lost required package. I need complete list required packages. - thelusiv - 04-05-2007 VDrift itself shouldn't require the .NET framework, unless one of those pesky libraries we use was compiled with it. However all of them are open source software and none of them are written in .NET/C#, so you shouldn't need it for anything, as far as I understand. Can you be more specific about the error you get, when you get it, etc.? Did installing the .NET framework fix the problem? I'm not sure what you mean about FreeBSD. The requirements on all platforms should only be SDL, SDL_image, SDL_net, OpenAL & ALUT, and SDL_gfx. The Windows version already includes all those libraries. - wmd772 - 04-05-2007 thelusiv Wrote:Can you be more specific about the error you get, when you get it, etc.?When? At start(doubleclick icon Vdrift.lnk or vdrift.exe). No game window was open, I on the spot get error message. thelusiv Wrote:Did installing the .NET framework fix the problem?Yes. Find old harddisk 4Gb and install on it FreeBSD 6.2, Xorg, nvidia-driver, vdrift from ports. Vdrift run ok (but sound frequently interrupt). Installed packages compare with my system, all right.
