- thelusiv - 04-10-2007 Which setting did you change? - kanand - 04-12-2007 Dont remember the exact setting. From Display properties, go to the nvidia panel. THere, you will see a selection for performance. When u click that, you will get "Basic Settings". This will let u change the AA, Af etc. If you change it to "Advanced settings" you will get more options. like triple buffering , Mipmap settings etc. Tweak those and it should do the trick. Anand - thelusiv - 04-12-2007 AA/AF are also controllable in VDrift itself and are off by default. Could you look at your settings again and tell us exactly how you set up your card? People with similar cards will certainly benefit from your help. Thanks. You can't use the video drivers that come with Windows XP! You're required to get the video drivers from Nvidia! Please install the video drivers from Nvidia and try again. - ELPIRATA - 12-15-2008 Not sure if this may help anyone but I got this behaviour as well. I went to the Nvidia X Server settings and found a OPENGL Settings tab where I could I decide between Hight Quality or High Performance (and many steps between them). It was at Quality (not High) and moved to High Performance, then went to Save changes option which is not there, but at the bottom of the window. Now I'm turning back options I had set off earlier. ELP - joevenzon - 12-15-2008 What graphics settings in VDrift are most playable for you? Do you run with shaders and/or shadows on? |
