When I started VDrift, I get an error message: SDL_gfx.dll could not found. How can I start the game?

Try the 2-12-08 release and see if you still get an error:

I have installed the version from 12-2-2008 and there is a new problem:VDrift.exe has a problem and must close.

Uh oh, that's not good. What kind of processor, video card, OS?

Directx 9.0

After the loading screen where you see a car, the game closed.

Hmm... please post the contents of the stdout.txt and stderr.txt files.

I just checked out the 2-8-08 windows release myself. It's missing some files, which is causing the crashes. I'll make a new release later today or tomorrow... standby.
