Full Version: Links to automake utilities

In the source distribution, all automake utilitylinks are pointing to automake-1.9. If somebody don'thace automake1.9 , ./configure will fail (it failed for me,i have only 1.6 on RHEL3 )missing -> /usr/share/automake-1.9/missinginstall-sh -> /usr/share/automake-1.9/install-shINSTALL -> /usr/share/automake-1.9/INSTALLdepcomp -> /usr/share/automake-1.9/depcompCOPYING -> /usr/share/automake-1.9/COPYINGregards,palanic
Try running ./autogen.sh and see if it re-creates proper links and compiles okay. I think it should recreate the links, and hopefully it won't screw up the build files.
You need to use 'make dist' to create the release tarballs instead of tarring them up manually. That'll fix the links for everyone.
Alright, I'll try that with the next release.
