got interior almost finished so tell me what you think of it:

Awesome! Make dashboard gauges pointers separate objects. I'll add support for them.

The front seats seem to have a minimal meshing error. I think it should be easy fixable. Can you upload the blend file?

We'll need a better driver mesh for this one.

do you mean for indicating the speed and rpm? good idea ill do that

yeah there are some bugs in the texture, what you are seeing is just baked and unedited, i will be fixing those little quirks in the final texture with gimp (also the dashboard and other stuff could use manual texturing with more details).
Question, does vdrift support transparent textures? I want to make the grille transparent, so you can see the engine behind it.
Check the glass mesh, textures from one of the cars.

Sorry for the long time no update. Here's the good news: The mesh and textures are finished. A few renderings of this car in the game StuntRally ( http://code.google.com/p/vdrift-ogre/ )

textures are 3x 1024x1024 (wheel, body and interior). all meshes are 35k triangles, a bit more than i expected.

now the bad news, i dont have vdrift now, nor i have time (at least until new year) to make a .car

will post the .blend on blendswap later today and will be posting the link here.[/url]
