I've having an issue with the sound. When I start a race the sound works fine but as I play the sound goes out (stops working a few min into the game). I'm not sure what is causing this problem, I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary. I've noticed that if I restart a game the sound also goes out from the start. I have to quit the game and start a new one in order for the sound to work again but as I play the sound will stop working again. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

The 3-23 release had a number of issues with sound. They've been fixed in the development version. A release looms closer, but if you want to use the SVN version in the mean time, here's how:

also the no sound on restart is an oldddddddd bug, try searching the forums. nothing can be done about it though

The "no sound on restart" bug was fixed a long time ago in SVN. The development version is pretty stable these days; you might want to give it a try.
