Mechanical simulator - dabada83 - 05-28-2014

Hello,

I need to build a drive simulator (mechanical simulator) like this:

http://www.carsim.com/downloads/video/hexapod/index.php

Can I use vdrift and another to interact with sensors and actuators???

Hello, dabada83.

VDrift has the open source so of course you can try to do that.

If I remember correctly someone tried to do the analog gauges and succeded.

Anyhow it would be great if you contribute something Smile

Can I use force-feedback???

RE: Mechanical simulator - NaN - 06-10-2014

Force-feedback is limited to tire aligning torque as is. But nothing is stopping you from getting more fancy (game is using Bullet physics lib).
