The ghost car replay function can be used to play back only replays made with the same car currently racing. For instance: record a replay with the XS, then start a new game with the CS, and then select Tools -> Replays -> Start Ghost Replay and you'll see 2 CS's, instead of a CS and an XS.

This works now except for one small bug which involves resetting. If there is a reset recorded in the replay, and it is played back in ghost car mode, the reset will affect both cars instead of just the recorded one.
