ghost opponents - chrpapas - 02-14-2009 Hi!I don't know why nobody reported this bug but if he did i apologise. In single race mode all of the opponents' cars are "ghosts".What i mean is that you can't crash on them but instead you pass through them.As a result overtaking an opponent is not a big deal.I believe this is not realistic and not expected. - chrpapas - 02-15-2009 Could you inform me about this bug please? One more question.Should i check the svn too before i report any bugs(I always check the already posted bugs before i report a new one)?Becasue i am a beginner tester could you please explain to me in a few words what the svn is? - joevenzon - 02-15-2009 chrpapas Wrote:Could you inform me about this bug please? Collision with the opponent cars hasn't been implemented yet, so for right now, what you're seeing is expected. SVN is short for Subversion, which is the version control system we use. That is, the latest source code is managed with a tool called SVN. So when someone says that something is fixed in SVN they mean that the latest development version of the code has this fixed. If you're using a published release of VDrift, it probably has a lot of bugs that have already been fixed in SVN. If you want to do a lot of testing, I recommend that you use the latest development version of the code. Here's how to get it and compile it: http://wiki.vdrift.net/Getting_the_development_version http://wiki.vdrift.net/Compiling |
