- joevenzon - 02-19-2008 R1951 has collision frameskipping and approximation functionality to provide a speed boost. The default is 250Hz physics and 5 physics frames per collision check (so, 50Hz collision checks). These can be changed on the commandline with the -physicsrate and -collisionskip arguments. For example, Code: vdrift -physicsrate 1000 -collisionskip 10 With the default settings, the "Single race" mode is very playable. The 1000 Hz rate is fun for driving the F1-02. - thelusiv - 02-19-2008 With the default settings everything seems fine in the M3D, and my graphics framerate has almost doubled. Looks good! |
